Today:
A band of showers, or more prolonged spells of rain, will gradually move northeastwards across the region. The rain and showers will be very heavy at times, possibly thundery. Brighter, fresher and mostly dry conditions will follow from the southwest. Maximum temperature 23 deg C (73 deg F).
Tonight:
Dry and sunny this evening. Overnight staying dry and largely cloudy free. Feeling noticeably fresher and cooler compared to recent nights. Minimum temperature 12 deg C (54 deg F).
Saturday:
Scattered showers will develop, especially through the afternoon and evening when some will become heavy with a low risk of thunder. Sunny spells between the showers. Temperatures closer to normal. Maximum temperature 22 deg C (72 deg F).
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunshine and showers each day, with the showers mainly light on Sunday, but sometimes heavy during Monday and Tuesday. The fresher conditions will persist, with average or near average temperatures.
