Showers quickly clearing this evening. Then remaining mostly dry with clear skies developing overnight allowing a slight frost to form, mainly in rural areas. Light northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature -1 deg C (30 deg F).
Saturday:
A bright start but cloud thickening through the day with a few light showers likely, especially across northern parts of Shropshire and Staffordshire through the afternoon. Freshening northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 10 deg C (50 deg F).
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Cloudy with a few showers on Sunday and then some mainly light rain on Monday. Drier and brighter on Tuesday. Temperatures near normal. Breezy to start but easing by Tuesday.
