A cloudy night with rain across Cumbria this evening, gradually spreading south but becoming light and patchy with most places dry by dawn. Moderate west becoming northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 1 deg C (34 deg F).
Friday:
Generally cloudy although there will be some bright or sunny spells. Staying mostly dry but a few showers are possible through the afternoon. Moderate northerly winds. Maximum temperature 9 deg C (48 deg F).
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Mostly dry over the weekend with some sunny spells but also a risk of the odd shower. Cloudier and breezy on Monday with some rain likely. Temperatures near normal.
