Headline:
Heavy thundery showers developing. Some brighter intervals.
Today:
It will be a largely dry and bright start to the day, especially in eastern areas. Increasing cloud will bring thundery showers from the west from mid morning onwards giving occasional heavy downpours. Becoming drier and brighter by evening. Maximum temperature 22 deg C (72 deg F).
Tonight:
A largely dry, warm and bright evening. Then most places dry and clear overnight. Some mist patches may form in sheltered valleys with light winds. Minimum temperature 11 deg C (52 deg F).
Saturday:
Bright or sunny spells during the morning, but with increasing cloud. Scattered showers will develop by midday, these occasionally heavy with local thunder. Maximum temperature 21 deg C (70 deg F).
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Continuing with the showery theme through the period with brighter periods and occasional heavy showers. Feeling much fresher as winds veer northerly by Tuesday.
