Headline:
Sunny in east but outbreaks of rain spreading northeast.
Today:
Dry with some very warm sunshine across the north and east but outbreaks of, occasionally heavy and perhaps thundery, showery rain in the southwest edging northeast through the day. Becoming less warm from the southwest. Occasionally fresh southeasterly breeze. Maximum temperature 26 deg C (79 deg F).
Tonight:
Outbreaks of showery rain clearing northeast through the evening with some late sunshine for the west. Mainly dry overnight with some long clear spells. Light winds. Minimum temperature 11 deg C (52 deg F).
Saturday:
Cooler than of late but still feeling quite warm with some good spells of sunshine. However scattered, locally heavy and perhaps thundery, showers will develop. Mainly light winds. Maximum temperature 22 deg C (72 deg F).
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Plenty of clear or sunny spells around but there will also be showers, these heavy and perhaps thundery at times. Turning cooler again as a northerly breeze develops on Tuesday.
